How the procedure goes
Bring the doctor’s ordersInjections, drips and blocks are done on a prescription that names the drug and the dose. A prescription from MedOne opens in the app — no paper needed.
Allow time for the sessionAn injection takes 10 minutes, a dressing 15, a drip about an hour. The duration is shown on the procedure card so you are not rushed.
A nurse can come to youSome clinics do injections, drips and dressings at home: the nurse arrives with her own supplies. The “Home visit” filter keeps only those.
Booking a course — book it all at onceMassage, physiotherapy and drips usually run as a course. It is easier to book every session back to back at the same time of day.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription?
For injections, drips and blocks — yes, the drug and the dose have to come from a doctor. Dressings, massage and physiotherapy you can book yourself.
Can I bring my own medication?
Yes, at most clinics — then you only pay for the nurse’s work. Check when you book: the price on the card includes the clinic’s medication.
Are procedures done at home?
Yes, some clinics travel to you. Such clinics carry the “Home visit” badge, and the visit fee is shown separately when you book.
What if the procedure is for a child?
Choose clinics with a children’s room: they have a separate entrance and nurses who work with children. Such clinics are marked on the card — look for the “Paediatrics” specialty.
