Telemedicine Terms
1. Nature of Telemedicine
Telemedicine means the provision of remote medical advice via video call, audio call, or chat.
2. Limitations
Telemedicine:
- ❌ does not replace surgery;
- ❌ does not replace urgent care;
- ❌ is not used in situations that require calling emergency medical services.
In life-threatening situations, contact emergency medical services immediately.
3. Patient Consent
The patient confirms that they:
- understand the limitations of a remote consultation;
- are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
4. Doctor's Rights
The doctor may:
- recommend additional examination;
- refer the patient to an in-person appointment;
- decline the consultation.
5. Consultation Records
A consultation may be stored as an audio recording, a video recording, or chat correspondence. These records are used for quality control and dispute resolution and are protected in accordance with the "Privacy Policy".
6. Audit
The Platform logs all access to the system, maintains an action log, and performs security checks.
